Product information "Cutting Edge Cultures – Starter Culture for Raw Fermented Vegetables"
  • Boost your fermentation! Fermentation is especially quick and safe with our Starter Culture for producing raw fermented vegetables.
  • Package Content: 6 bags with 2g Starter Culture each. 1 bag is sufficient for at least 2.2kg of vegetables. You may produce a total of 13.2kg of fermented vegetables with just one package (6 bags).
  • Ingredients: tapioca dextrose (85%), Lactobacillus plantarum (5%), Pediococcus acidilactici (5%). Store cool and dry after transport, we also do recommend storing in the fridge.
  • Our starter culture is a balanced mix of carefully selected lactic acid bacteria strains; together they play a crucial role in the optimization of the natural fermentation process. The starter culture guarantees for optimal fermentation and, as rapid leavening agent, helps reliably to avoid faulty fermentation. Fermentation is therefore under control and your result tastes particularly delicious.
  • If added right from the start to your culture, lactic acid bacteria are already present in large amounts and do proliferate very fast giving a fermented food extra rich of probiotic bacteria. This is fully attested by a comprehensive study of the supplier (United States control authority: FDA, Food and Drug Administration)

Perfekt

Einfach perfekt für eine sichere und schnelle Fermentation von Milchsauer Gemüse! Ich liebe Karotten Sticks mit Ingwer/Lorbeer und Weißkohl in dickeren Stücken (viel knackiger als gehobeltes Sauerkraut!). Seit ich mit Cuting Edge arbeite, gabs keinen Schimmel oder Hefe oben auf dem Gemüse. Spart Geld und Nerven... ^^

also ich bin sehr zufrieden!! jetz muss ich nicht mehr angst haben, ob es doch nicht klappt! ich habe erst 2 ansätze gemacht, beide top!! und das im sommer!!!!!!! :-)

Kimchi gelingt deutlich besser!

Kompetenter und freundlicher Versender! Auch das Produkt hat mich überzeugt. Mein veganes Kimchi ist sehr viel schneller gereift und war besonders aromatisch.

Alles bestens!

Bei meinen ersten Versuchen ohne Starterkultur waren immer auch ein paar Ausfälle dabei. Einige Gläser sind "umgekippt" oder das Ergebnis hat etwas merkwürdig geschmeckt. Mit der Starterkultur von Cutting Edge ging alles bestens! (Ich habe übrigens nur die halbe angegebene Menge dosiert!)

Klappt super!

Das Gemüse hat wirklich noch schneller fermentiert als sonst! Bei 10 Gläsern kein einziges das schief ging!
