What Makes L. reuteri Yogurt So Special?
Lactobacillus reuteri is a unique species of lactic acid bacteria that naturally occurs, among other places, in the human gut and differs from traditional yogurt cultures.
L. reuteri is particularly popular among people interested in gut health, the gut microbiome, and microbial diversity. The culture has been extensively studied scientifically and has become well known among people interested in fermentation and wellness.
Here, L. reuteri is combined with Lactobacillus bulgaricus, a classic Bulgarian yogurt culture. The result is a particularly creamy, thick yogurt with a pleasantly mild and tangy flavor and its own distinctive character.
